Miss Tan

Tags: memories

Miss Malvina Tan, my English Lit. teacher back in the old SAC days. Currently known as Mrs. Malvina Lim, teacher in TKGS. She is married (not to the char kway teow man, thankfully) and has a lovely kid.

I was suddenly reminded of her during Maths lecture earlier this morning. Mr. Maths Lecturer was pointing towards the screen and I thought back of the Literature lessons I had back in secondary school…

While Miss Tan was pointing towards the white projector screen, a gust of wind blew from the open windows (and no, we did not have air-conditioned classrooms) and blew the transparency off the OHP. Her immediate response was to catch the projected image on the screen. It was hilarious watching her throw herself onto the screen, attempting to retrieve the blown away document.

As I thought about that, I started chuckling into my Maths notes. I will also never forget her signature on e-mails:

Part-time cross stitcher, Full-time cross teacher

I love the new layout! 🙂

The teacher’s e-tag line and attempt to snag the escaping overhead are too funny!

Byes!

Sweet, lovely new theme.
A /fond/ memory of the past. Bittersweet.
What a [probably very] fitting signature. Amusing.

Hahaha. She definitely had personality. . . . I heart her signature!

This has got to be one of the most random blog entries that I have read today and yet it is so beautifully written!

I love the new layout, too! The blue gives a very tranquil impression! Looking nice!
