Roses

Half-bloomed roses
One blue, one white
You knew I liked them
And you got one each

Dead roses
Withered and dried
That’s what they’ve become
As the years pass

Forsaken roses
Too ugly, too painful
Each look brings hurt
That was inflicted by you

nice poem. sad that it’s kinda changed how u feel bout flowers. I actually do like flowers, except that my cats always eat it and then they throw it up, and then I have to clean it. lol.

Withered roses
despite the age,
Never forget
like words on a page

Memories treasured,
remembered well;
Free for me
my heart to tell.

You may be gone,
I may be old;
But I ne’er forget
you, to my heart I hold.

impromptu reply ^^; I suck.

i love flowers. but only at that moment of receiving and sniffing them. the withering of petals, is too ugly, feels like the end of a beautiful love.
