I do not like being disappointed. I’m sure everyone else doesn’t like being disappointed either.

I’m sure, however, that one simply cannot go through life without being disappointed once. I admit, I’ve been disappointed plenty of times.

So since I cannot live without disappointments, I figured out that I could avoid them, no?

Reason why we get disappointed is because we hope and expect too much. Well, at least I do the hoping and expecting. Thus, as I grew up and became less naive, I slowly lost hope and tried to stop expecting too much from everything and everyone.

In which, I find it really sad. Slowly losing hope, I mean. My name means hope, but I always find myself feeling rather hopeless and losing hope because I fear disappointment.

Would that be the right way?
