CRAP

Tags: rant · school

I was fortunate.

The majority questions from last evening’s WEBP paper were topics I managed to skim through early yesterday morning and on the train ride to school. Thus, the information was still fresh in my mind as I sat for the paper.

And of all questions, the question I posted yesterday appeared in the paper:

Explain the four basic web design principles.

By then, I had read my notes and remembered that the answer was CRAP. Unfortunately, I forgot what CRAP stands for. I ended up answering Constrast, Readability, Accessibility and Proportion. I went home to check my notes to find that CRAP actually stands for Contrast, Repetition, Alignment and Proximity.

CRAP.

That real crap. But since it’s over, no point dwelling on it. Good luck for the rest.
