!!!! but some of your entries are still intact eh? better stick to a reliable host, even if it may be slightly pricey than another. it happened to me once as well, but luckily it was only a photo album. all the best in recovering your stuff.

Aww I’m sorry to hear what happened to you.. My site have never been down even once since I registered it over a year ago with Ipowerweb. But still that’s a good idea to do a database backup, I need to do it too.

what kinda host is that? don’t they do at least daily backups? geeez…

i’m one of those hardened souls who have had so much data lost due to countless reasons that these things don’t bother me anymore. like recently i lost a whole bunch of my favourite emails collected over the years. oh well, i thought. just move on.

same thing happened to me, but only my emails were affected.

i once erase all my data in my laptop cause I reformatted the wrong drive!

Oh wow, I’m soooooo sorry that that happened to you too! I just had that happen like 3 months ago!!!! Sorry that you didn’t do a database backup! I always do a full backup, so that it includes the databases also. Hehe. Anyways, good luck with all of this! I really do know how much hard work it is!!!!!! *hugs*

At least your entries seem more or less intact, I think it’s much worse to lose entries than other files.
