POP, AGM and ECP

It’s been a long week.
With all the deadlines of assignments, presentations and reports, I am (somewhat) enjoying my term break. After which, my paper begins. (Hear the gloom in my tone.)
Last Thursday (July 21), Jun Wei has finally graduated from the Police Academy and I was invited to the POP. Initially, I was also invited to go for the commissioning dinner but later, he found out that (oddly) this time round, each cadet was only given two instead of the usual three tickets.
Can’t say I’m that disappointed as you can see (in the picture) it is a rather grand event and fancy occasions do not mix well with me.

The day after the POP, I had SPSU AGM in which I had to be in formal wear (ewwwe) as I was part of the 46th Council.

This is the best picture that captures me in these sickening clothes

We wanted some fun for the weekend. On Sunday, we went roller-blading at East Coast Park. Despite weather reports that (I quote) “no rain is detected over Singapore”, grey clouds lingered dangerously above us, threatening to let rain fall anytime.
Instead of a nice brown tan, we got a not-so-nice drizzle.
But it was still worth it as it was Jun Wei’s first go at roller-blading.

Of course, he had to fall.
On a sidenote, Through Her Eyes is back and check out my entry for last week’s Photo Friday challenge (theme: Attractive). Comments on that entry would be greatly appreciated.
